Visualization

“You live most of your life inside of your head. Make sure it is a nice place to be.”

Each second that passes by, our brain is flooded with thoughts. They can be a sudden reminder of something we need to buy or to add at our endless to do list, worries, planning for the future or things we say to ourselves, more often than not, with a negative weight, impacting our self-esteem, self-love and sense of fulfillment.

Despite 98% of the time we are not aware of those thoughts, they come and go leaving behind a continuous trace in our actions, in our emotions, in our decisions, in the quality of our lives. More often than not, the quality of our lives is a reflection of the quality of our thoughts.

Visualization is the act of consciously rewire those thoughts, by daily feeding our brain with the type of food that keeps us on track of our goals, keeping self-sabotaging away, unleashing the power we already have within ourselves, but which is often quiet down by the noise of our unconscious mind. Our mind, body and emotions are intrinsically connected. One changes, the others always follow.

Emotional Management

Unless you are a monk living in a cave in the Himalayas, odds are that every day you are faced with situations that can potentially trigger heavy emotions. If we try to control them, more often than not, chances are that they’re already beyond prophylactic management. Look at them as a snowball, that as you roll and roll up on the hill, it gets bigger and bigger, until you have no more strength to hold it and it rolls down the hill, completely running over you.

Emotional management is not easy. It demands a quite deal of the following things:
- self-awareness, so you are aware of the emotions emerging inside you. Remember that in life we may not always be able to choose what happens to us, but we can choose how we react to it;
- humility, that keeps you away from getting off with those emotions because, even if they’re heavy, you know you’re right (if it’s hurting your health, your well-being, your destroying your work and relationships and if it’s ruining your day, is it really that important that you are right?);
- knowledge, of the most important tools to keep the emotions light and manageable, minimizing conflicts from happening and keeping your life flowing (imagine keeping that snow ball small and still, until eventually melts).

My work in all this? Teaching you the tools, following-up on your development and give you consistency, guidance and support throughout that path.
